Garik
Garik is 36 years-old and he lives with his family in Kapan. After graduating secondary school, Garik studied at the Art School. Garik is married and lives with his wife, two daughters and retired mother. Garik’s father died when he was very young and Garik became the only breadwinner in their family. Now Garik works at Kapan Mining Combine as a miner.

From childhood, Garik has liked to do paintings, different sculptures and souvenirs. Garik successfully sells his handmade souvenirs and paintings at the Kapan market but the income is sometimes not enough to cover all the needs of his family, that is why he has asked for a loan of 900.000 Armenian drams in order to buy machine-tools, raw materials (wood) and different tools that he needs. Garik needs this loan very much and he will be very happy and thankful to Kiva to have it as soon as possible.
