La señora Margarita de estado civil casada, cuenta con 31 años de edad, de escolaridad 3ro. primaria, tiene 4 hijos y 2 de ellos estan estudiando, ella se dedica a la elaboracion de canastas, inició este negocio por enseñanza de sus padres y hasta el momento lleva 10 años de experiencia.

Decide organizar un grupo para solicitar un préstamo que lo utilizará para la compra de materiales para elaboracion de canastas. en el futuro desea tener un capital grande de trabajo para poder elaborar mas canastas y tener un local en el centro del municipio; las demás integrantes del grupo se dedican al comercio. En la fotografía del grupo hace falta una integrante, puesto que esta señora no pudo asistir en la reunion cuando tomaron la foto.

About Asociación ASDIR

ASDIR (Asociación de Desarrollo Integral Rural - Association for the Development of Rural Communities) is a community-based organization that works to promote development in the villages and communities where it serves. It was founded in 1999 in the village of Nimasac, Totonicapán Department, by a handful of local men and women to support community projects and group loans. Today ASDIR has 5 offices across 3 departments (Totonicapán, Sololá and Suchitepéquez) serving more than 6,000 clients, most of them in rural communities.
