Josephine runs an Agrovet business in Kangundo town. She sells farm chemicals, insecticides, seeds for planting and even dairy meal for most of the farmers in the area. She has been in this business for three years. She is 49 years old, married and has four children.
This being her third loan term with KADET, she plans to buy more stock of fertilizers, pesticides and animal feeds for resale. She will use the generated income to pay school fees for her children.
She hopes to expand her business and open another Agrovet business soon. She also hopes to buy a plot and build a house for her family.
