This group consists of six partners residing in Teshie. They are Nancy, Tsotsoo, Patience, Jenifer, Janet and Emelia. They have been together since 2011 and are still doing very well. They sell clothes, plates, bags, ready-made items, foodstuff, underwear and fresh fish.

Patience, the leader, is 32 years old and sells bags and ready-made clothing. She is married to Israel a 45-year-old driver. They have two children. She has been doing this for the past eight years. On 25th March, 2011, she took out her first loan of GHS 200. Through her dedication and seriousness in her business, she has been able to build up trust with ID Ghana.

For her 5th loan, she is requesting the amount of GHS 1,200 to help her boost the business and to satisfy her customers in and around the community.

All members together need a total amount of GHS 2,900 to buy more goods to sell to their respective customers in the community.

ID Ghana’s socially-oriented business model provides clients with a number of social services, including financial literacy training, group discussions led by peer educators on health and nutrition education, child schooling, basic medical services, and counseling and legal services for women victims of violence.
