Ameanata is 43 years old and lives in Sanniquille, the capital city of Nimba County, which is rich in natural resources, has living conditions that are much better than the capital city, and is the second largest populated county in Liberia. She did not go to school and she has lived all her life in a rural area. Traditionally, she is married, and her husband is a farmer. They have six children; she does not know their ages, she said, and none of her children are in school.
From selling her husband's farm products, she was able to establish her business. Since 2010, she has been running a table where she sells palm oil, vita and pepper. She spends nine hours on her business. A problem she faces is her small income. She is requesting a loan to purchase more inventory for her business. Her plan is to one day send her children to vocation school.
