Ashkhen lives in village Vosketap in the region of Ararat with her two sons and husband’s retired parents. Ashkhen’s elder son is passing military service, her husband is in the Russian Federation in work abroad and all the family needs are laid on Ashkhen. She perfectly manages farming and agriculture completely alone. She has a nice vegetable garden, which is the main source of income of her family. She cultivates cucumbers, potatoes and tomatoes of a very good sort and she sells them to resellers at a very good price. But her farm is not as rich with animals as her vegetable garden. She has one cow, a pig and ten chickens. She asks for a loan of 1,300 US dollars to buy piglets and seedlings for her vegetable garden. Ashkhen ensures Kiva lenders that if she gets this loan very soon, she will inform about her successes and profit.
