Affivi, age 39, lives in Lomé with her spouse, a preacher. She learned sewing as a profession and provides services to her customers in a workshop that she rents.
In addition, she resells pagnes (colorful African cloth) that she buys at the Grand Market in Lomé. In order to better satisfy her clients and increase her profits, she's seeking her first loan from Kiva's partner, WAGES, in order to buy pagnes.
She hopes to reinvest in her business and see her family blossom.
