Juan tiene 38 años de edad y tiene una relación de unión libre de la cual tiene cuatro hijos, él es una persona trabajadora que saca adelante a su familia. Su actividad económica principal es la reparación de carros, él y su hermano tienen un pequeño taller donde reparar diferentes tipos de vehículos y les va muy bien. Él también en sus horas libres se dedica a la vender palos que extrae de los bosques. Desde hace varios años que pertenece al banco comunal “Miraflores” y en esta oportunidad requiere el préstamo para comprar una prensa hidráulica.

Juan nació en la comunidad de Mashuay y vive en la misma comunidad donde nació. (La comunidad de Mashuay está ubicada en el distrito del Challabamba en la provincia de Paucartambo dentro del departamento de Cusco, Perú).
