Marielena is a married, 46-year-old woman with three children, ages 26, 24 and 10 years old. She has a family mechanic business with her husband and oldest son. They started their business more than 16 years ago with a secondhand welding machine. Now, Marielena has more machines and her business is growing. She desires to expand her business with more car parts and supplies.
Marielena needs a loan of 2,400 Peruvian Nuevo Soles to expand her business and provide better service for her customers.
Marielena has had difficult times, especially with her youngest son. Her son was born with a frontal tumor on his head, and he needs therapy for his condition. Though this treatment is very expensive, Marielena is confident that she and her family will move forward.
Marielena likes to embroider and work with alpaca wool, and enjoys free time with her son.
