Single and 26 years old with one child, Mr. Yawo A. was born in Missawomé, a village in Togo. Not having had much education, he left his village very early for the city of Lomé where he hoped to earn a living. He then got involved in small businesses. These experiences served him well because he was able to choose and succeed in one of these businesses since 2005, namely the buying and selling of assorted general food products. He is a retailer and often adapts to his customers’ needs which has given him a monopoly over most of his customers compared to his competitors. In order to better serve his customers, Mr. A. would like to take out his first loan so he can increase his stock by buying 10 boxes of beverages and 8 sacks of rice.
