Nap is 45 years old. She is married and resides with four children in Takeo Province, Cambodia. She has been involved in weaving for more than ten years, earning approximately $3 daily. Her husband is a rice farmer who makes an income of $2 per day. Two of her children are employed in a garment factory. They earn about $6 each day.
In order to improve her business, Nap is requesting a loan of $1000 to purchase silk to use for weaving. By doing so, she would obtain enough ability to produce more cloth to sell and earn more income to financially support the family. In the future, she would like to expand her business and help her children earn Bachelor’s degrees. Moreover, she hopes to build a new house as soon as possible.
