Elijah does a motorcycle transport business in Kangundo town. He has been in this business for the past five years and it has been profitable. Besides the motorcycle business, he is also a cash crop farmer. He is 27 years old, married, and has one child.
This is his second loan term; he plans to buy spare parts and repair his motorcycle and keep it in good condition. He also wants to buy fertilizer and seeds for planting. He will use the anticipated income to open a retail shop for his wife.
He hopes to buy another motorcycle and be able to make more income thereby improving the living standards of his family.
