“Mujeres Progresistas” (Progressive Women) is a group formed in the city of Itá; it has 22 women members. It’s a very large group that strives and they want to work to help their families and attain a better future this way.

Liz, one of the members, works selling food she makes herself. She relates that she works every day starting very early in the morning since she gets up to be able to prepare her meals. She’s very self-sacrificing and she comments that everything she does she does in order to grow and have a better life.

Mujeres progresistas es un grupo formado en la ciudad de Itá, el cual está integrado por 22 mujeres. Es un grupo muy numeroso que se esfuerza y quieren trabajar para ayudar a sus familias y de esa forma procurar por un mejor futuro.
Liz, una de las miembros, se dedica a la venta de comidas que ella misma hace. Cuenta que todos los días trabaja desde muy tempranas horas ya que se levanta para poder preparar sus comidas. Ella es muy sacrificada y comenta que todo lo que hace es para crecer y tener una vida mejor.
