Joyce is married with 4 children and they all go to school. She also takes care of an additional two grandchildren. She has a beauty salon and has been in this business for 10 years. She has applied for a loan of 1.500,000 Uganda shillings from MCDT-SACCO to buy more boxes of cream relaxers, braids, weaves and Vaseline. She works at the market six days a week. Her major business challenges include seasonality and defaulters. She aspires to own a fully stocked beauty salon and also to build rental rooms. She resides in a rented house and the family has access to electricity and piped water. Her monthly expenses includes school fees and paying for utility bills.
