Mwanasha is a married mother who lives in Msambweni. She sells in a retail shop, helped by her family members. She owns a house with neither electricity nor piped water.
She runs a retail shop, and she always struggles to improve it, trying to sell more and save money in order to have a more formal establishment. Mwanasha is requesting a loan to buy shop items of wheat flour, maize flour, rice and tea leaves.
About Yehu Microfinance Trust
This loan is administered by Yehu Microfinance Trust, which was founded in 1998 as a project of CHOICE Humanitarian Kenya. In July 2007, Yehu became a separate entity from CHOICE and was registered as a trust. Since then, Yehu has expanded to cover over half of Kenya’s 13 coastal districts.
