Shalar usually buys cattle, raises them, fattens and sells them in the central bazaar. His monthly income is 120 AZN. This is the only source of income for his family. He plans to expand the business in order to bring more funds into the family. Selling meat is a very profitable business in Azerbaijan, due to its wide use in everyday dishes.
Shalar is applying for a loan of 1800 AZN in order to buy more calves. He believes this loan will have a positive impact on the expansion of his business. This is his third loan and he has a very good client history.
