Manuel lives with his wife and five children. He works farming rice, a business he has had for more than 10 years. With the income he earns from his sales, he is able to meet his household expenses.
He is requesting a loan to purchase more seeds, manure and fertilizer and to improve the land that is shown in the photograph so that he can produce a larger quantity of basic grains. This will satisfy his customers so that he can increase his sales and give his family a more stable financial situation.
