Nulu is married with four children and all her children go to school. She also takes care of additional family (sister). She has a business of selling charcoal and has been in this business for 4 years. She has applied for a loan of 1,500,000 Uganda shillings from MCDT-SACCO to buy more bags of charcoal.
She works from her home six days out of every week and sells on a retail basis only. Her major business challenges include seasonality and the transportation of bags of charcoal up to her home.
She is aspiring of owning a delivery van to ease transportation and also to educate her children up to university. She resides in her own house and the family has access to electricity and piped water. Her monthly expenses includes school fees and paying utility bills.
