Tien was born in 1965. She has two sons who are adults. Her husband is an irrigation worker. His income is about 7,000,000 VND per month. Tien raises chickens to earn a living. Each month, she earns about 2,000,000 VND. She has done this job for a long time. The total income of her family is about 9,000,000 VND.
Tien has taken part in SEDA’s microfinance program since 2005. The last cycle, she borrowed 9,810,000 VND and repaid the loan on time. In this loan cycle, she wants to borrow about 11,118,000 VND to buy food for chickens. She always wants to enlarge her farm of chickens.
