Immaculate is a 30-year-old hardworking single mother living in Fort Portal, Uganda. She operates a retail shop, sells firewood and bananas and is also a teacher. She began the business five years ago in order to raise money to support her family, since the responsibility solely rests on her. Her dream is to venture into farming. Immaculate intends to use the loan to buy land for farming.

This loan is part of HOFOKAM's program targeting poor and geographically excluded populations in Western Uganda.
