Thuan was born in 1968. She has two children who are workers. Her husband raises pigs and chickens. His income is about 3,000,000 Viet Nam dongs (VND) per month. Thuan raises pigs and chickens, and plants vegetables to earn a living. She makes 3,000,000 VND a month. Her family’s total earnings are about 10,000,000 VND per month.
Thuan has participated in SEDA's credit program since 2003. In the last cycle, she borrowed 9,810,000 VND and repaid the loan on time. In this loan cycle, she would like to borrow 11,118,000 VND to buy more pigs and to plant vegetables. She wants to buy more new furniture for her house.
