Gérôme is a 48-year-old man who is married and the father of seven children. Five of his children are still in school. Gérôme is involved in retail and sells fresh produce (tomatoes, vegetables), depending on the season, at a local market. He has been involved in this activity for the past 20 years.

Gérôme knows his suppliers and also his customers particularly well, as he has built his customer base over time, thanks to his experience in his field. However, because of his small capital, he always has to sell his entire stock of merchandise before he can buy more goods. As a consequence, he is constantly out of stock.

He would like to increase his stock of produce and buy bulk quantities of food products, which will not only increase his sales, but also his profits.

Gérôme will reinvest part of his profits in his business, in order to expand it, and will use the rest of the money to meet the needs of his family.
