Cecilia
Cecilia is a 57-year-old woman. She is a widow and the mother of some children. She is involved in retail and sells fresh produce (tomato, okra, vegetables, cassava, plantains), depending on the season, at a local market. She has been involved in this activity for 20 years.

Cecilia knows her suppliers and also her customers particularly well, as she has built her customer base over time, thanks to her experience in this field. However, because of her small capital, she always has to sell all her stock of merchandise before she can buy more goods. As a consequence, she is constantly out of stock.

Cecilia would like to increase her stock of food products and buy bulk quantities of produce, which will not only increase her sales but also her profits.

She plans to reinvest part of her profits in her business, in order to expand it. She will use the rest of the money to meet the needs of her family.
