Armik is a teacher with many years of experience teaching in the local school. She lives in a small village called Mrgavan in the Ararat region. Unfortunately, a teacher’s salary is not enough to make ends meet for a family of six: herself, her husband, son, daughter-in-law and two little grandchildren.
Her farming business helps her family to have stable income during the month. Armik cultivates tomatoes and grows peach, apricot, apple and pear trees as well. Armik's son sells the gathered harvest locally and collects the money, which is vital for sustaining the family.
With the requested loan from SEF International, Armik would like to expand her farming business. With the loan's help, she will purchase tomato seeds and fertilizer and cover cultivation costs. The loan is very important for Armik and her family to enlarge their farm and be able to improve their living conditions.
