The group "Manzanita de Tocongori" will start its first series with Pro Mujer, as a part of the Centro Focal de Achacachi, and is comprised of 8 people and headed by a directive board where Mrs. Gregoria is the President. The businesses that the members are associated with are varied, from making blankets, selling refreshments, operating a tractor, selling groceries, selling cheese and running a grocery store.

The loan will benefit several of these small micro-businesses that Mrs. Gregoria is a member of, and she indicates that this is her group's first loan with Pro Mujer, and that she became a member of this organization thanks to a promoter who came to visit her in her home. Today, she has a small business selling artisanal goods, making rope, something she learned from her friends and then, later, decided to start her own business.

The loan that she will receive now is to increase her working capital (to purchase thread) that she will acquire in the upcoming festivals in the city of El Alto and then, afterwards, she will use it to sell goods in the festivals of her own community. This kind of work allows her to obtain the resources to support her home, as she is married and has four children.

When she was asked, she said that what she likes about Pro Mujer is the training in money management and in health.

La A.C. “MANZANITA DE TOCONGORI” iniciará el primer ciclo en Pro Mujer, como parte del Centro Focal de Achacachi, está compuesta por ocho integrantes y está dirigida por una mesa directiva donde la señora Gregoria es la Presidenta. Los negocios que las integrantes de la asociación comunal llevan adelante son variados entre ellos existen: trenzado de mantas, comerciante de refrescos, tractorista, venta de abarrotes, venta de queso, tienda de abarrotes.

El crédito que sacaran beneficiara a pequeñas microempresarias donde la señora Gregoria es integrante, ella indica que es el primer ciclo que integra Pro Mujer, ingresando por invitación de un promotor de la institución que fue a visitarle a su casa. En la actualidad ella tiene un negocio de artesanías en trenzado de sogas; da a conocer que este negocio lo aprendió de sus amigas, posteriormente decide emprender su propio negocio.

El crédito que ahora sacará es para el aumento de capital (compra de hilos) que adquirirá de las ferias de la ciudad de El Alto y posteriormente a la elaboración lo comercializará en la feria de su comunidad. Esta forma de trabajo le permite generar recursos para mantener en lo posible a su hogar pues ella es casada y tiene cuatro hijos.

Cuando se le consulta qué le gusta de Pro Mujer, ella responde que le gusta las capacitaciones en crédito y salud.
