Juana nació en el centro poblado de Gamitana pero vive en la ciudad de Salvación. (La ciudad de Salvación está ubicada en el distrito del Manu en la provincia de Manu dentro del departamento de Madre de Dios, Perú).

Juana tiene 33 años de edad y tiene una relación de unión libre de la cual tiene tres hijos, ella es una madre trabajadora y emprendedora que saca adelante su familia y su actividad económica principal es la recolectar mariposas y venta de comestibles, ella tiene una pequeña tienda de abarrotes en su domicilio donde vende diferentes productos de primera necesidad como por ejemplo arroz, azúcar, fideos, otras cosas más. Ya son varios años que se dedica al negocio y ve la muy bien gracias al empeño que pone en su trabajo. Ella pertenece al banco comunal “Tesoritos del Manu” y en esta oportunidad requiere el préstamo para comprar mercadería al por mayor como sacos de azúcar y sacos de arroz. Agradece y valora el préstamo y se compromete a cumplir con el pago de sus cuotas mensuales.
