Susan is married and has children all under her care. They own a house that has neither electricity nor piped water. Her greatest monthly expenses are food and school fees.
She has operated a vegetable and fruit selling business for the past years. For that reason, with the 30,000 KES she wants to purchase green vegetables, and sacks of fruits such as oranges and mangoes. She decided to join Yehu to get financial support.
About Yehu Microfinance Trust
This loan is administered by Yehu Microfinance Trust, which was founded in 1998 as a project of CHOICE Humanitarian Kenya. In July 2007, Yehu became a separate entity from CHOICE and was registered as a trust. Since then, Yehu has expanded to cover over half of Kenya’s 13 coastal districts.
