Asha is a widow. She has six small children who are still in primary school and she is dedicating her efforts to advance them. She began her business two years ago. She sells flat bread, cooked beans and rice, and the business, due to her considerable effort, is doing very well.
Thanks to her hard work, Asha is educating her children, and purchasing all the necessities that she could hope for. Asha wishes to continue working and investing in her work so that she can have the means to continue helping her children.
About Yehu Microfinance Trust
This loan is administered by Yehu Microfinance Trust, which was founded in 1998 as a project of CHOICE Humanitarian Kenya. In July 2007, Yehu became a separate entity from CHOICE and was registered as a trust. Since then, Yehu has expanded to cover over half of Kenya’s 13 coastal districts.
