Hassan
Hassan is 41 years old (standing on the left in the photograph with his credit officer on the right); he has three children and only one attends school. He operates a cattle trade business as well as a butchery on the outskirts of Kagadi town and has been doing this business since 2006. He started this business as a source of income to look after himself and the family.

Hassan wants a loan of 3,000,000 shillings to complete payment on land. The cost for the land is 5,700,000 shillings of which he has only 2,700,000. He hopes to use this land for the grazing of his cows for sale because he has been hiring the grazing land and he hopes to save a lot from the business if this land is bought.

His major challenge is limited capital in the business as well as the transportation of animals to the market. His dream is to buy a vehicle to help him with the transportation.
