Kabibi has been married for years. They have four children that still depend on them.
Kibibi has had her retail shop for the last three years. She has a very good clientele and gets help from her husband. Together, they run the business. Her husband works too and they are all able to get ahead this way, helping each other out.
She’s asking for this loan to buy sugar, oil, tea, rice and other items to be able to offer variety to her customers thus improving her income.

This loan is administered by Yehu Microfinance Trust, which was founded in 1998 as a project of CHOICE Humanitarian Kenya. In July 2007, Yehu became a separate entity from CHOICE and was registered as a trust. Since then, Yehu has expanded to cover over half of Kenya’s 13 coastal districts.
