Sargis
Sargis is 54 years old. He lives with his wife in Lusadzor village which is in the Ijevan area. His daughter is married and lives separately from parents with her newly created family. Sargis’ elder son is in the Russian Federation for work abroad, and his younger son is serving in the military.

For a long period, Sargis worked as a worker in several factories in the city of Ijevan.

Since 1992, Sargis and his wife have engaged in agricultural business. On his own plot of land, Sargis grows vegetables which he sells in Ijevan markets. He also breeds chickens. Sargis has built a chicken coop near his house and keeps about 50 chickens. Sargis has a lot of clients from Yerevan and sells them eggs once a week. The profit from his farming allows him to sustain his family. From time to time, his elder son helps Sargis and shares with his family from Russia.

Sargis asks for a loan from Kiva to organize the spring seeding process and to buy young chickens in order to enlarge his agriculture business.
