Mercy is married and a mother of two children, all of whom attend school. They live in their own house that neither has electricity nor piped water.
For years, she has operated a retail shop business, selling from home to her neighbours and passers-by. She faces a major challenge in price fluctuation of products in her business. Mercy dreams of establishing a wholesale shop in the future.
With the Kshs 40,000 loan Mercy wants to purchase three bundles of wheat flour, cooking fat and sugar. She decided to join Yehu to access loans to boost her business.
