Justine is single and has two children who attend school. She is also looking after two nieces. She lives in Kampala, Uganda. Justine has been selling charcoal in the market at retail for 10 years, working seven days a week. She earns additional income selling Irish potatoes.

Her dream is to accumulate enough profits to enable her to become a wholesaler and acquire her own premises. Justine rents a house with no access to electricity or piped water. Her major monthly expenses include school fees and rent.
