The “CORAZON DE JESUS CRISTAL" communal bank is beginning its fifth cycle with Pro Mujer as part of the Senkata center. It's made up of twelve ladies and directed by a board of directors where Isabel serves as the president. The members have various types of businesses, including food sales, undergarment sales, cosmetic sales, sport clothing manufacture, blankets, flowers, sewing, t-shirts, building and chicken sales.

This loan will benefit their small businesses including Isabela's. She says that it's been two years since she joined Pro Mujer, having joined on the invitation of a promoter who visited her in her home. She currently has a blanket knitting business and says that she started this business with some yarn that she had and she decided to produce and sell it.

She will use the money from this loan to buy yarn at the fairs in El Alto and then sell the things she makes at her stall. This type of work allows her to generate some income to support her household because she is in a common law marriage and has six children.

When asked what she likes about Pro Mujer, she says that she likes the health care and loans.

La A.C. “CORAZON DE JESUS CRISTAL” iniciará el quinto ciclo en Pro Mujer, como parte del Centro Focal de Senkata, está compuesta por doce integrantes y está dirigida por una mesa directiva donde la señora Isabel es la Presidenta. Los negocios que las integrantes de la asociación comunal llevan adelante son variados entre ellos existen: venta de productos varios, venta de comida, venta de ropa interior, venta de cosméticos, costura de deportivos, venta de mantas, venta de flores, costura y venta de polleras, constructora, venta de pollos.

El crédito que sacaran beneficiara a pequeñas microempresarias donde la señora Isabel es integrante, ella indica que hace dos años que integra Pro Mujer, ingresando por la invitación de una promotora de la institución que fue a visitarle a su casa. En la actualidad ella tiene un negocio de tejido y venta de mantas; da a conocer que este negocio lo emprendió por un capital en lana que tenía y decidió producirlo y comercializarlo.

El crédito que ahora sacará es para el aumento de capital (compra de lana) que adquirirá de las ferias de la Ciudad de El Alto y posteriormente a la elaboración lo comercializará en su espacio de venta. Esta forma de trabajo le permite generar recursos para mantener en lo posible a su hogar pues ella vive en unión libre y tiene seis hijos.

Cuando se le consulta qué le gusta de Pro Mujer, ella responde que le gusta el área de salud y crédito.
