Melchora is a 38-year-old married woman and a mother of two children from Bohol, Philippines. She runs a sari-sari or variety store business as a source of income. Melchora is asking for a loan to buy additional groceries to sell like canned goods, candies, soap, shampoo, soda and coffee, seasonings and other items. With more stock in her store, she will be able to cater to the needs of her buyers and increase her sales and income. Melchora believes that hard work and perseverance is necessary to succeed in life. She wants to continue supporting the schooling of her children.
