A 39-year-old mother of three children, Sreymom resides in a rural village of Kampong Cham Province’s Tbaung Khmum District in Cambodia. Her husband works in a rubber field, which he has been doing for seventeen years.
Sreymom earns about 35,000 KHR from her business daily to meet her family’s needs. She is applying for a loan of 4,000,000 KHR to buy wood to renovate her old house. This is her first microloan with Kiva’s partner, VisionFund. She hopes that this loan will helped her repair her house so she can improve her family’s living conditions.
