The “TAURO” lending group will start its fifteenth cycyle at Pro Mujer as a part of the Centro Focal de Senkata. They are made up of eight members and are headed by a board where Martha is the President.

The members of the communal group have different business such as: neighborhood store, selling fruit, selling food, selling clothes, sewing t-shirts, sewing quilts and skirts.

The loan they are requesting will benefit small business owners where Martha is a member.

She mentions that seven years ago she became a member of Pro Mujer through the invitation of a friend who is a member of the institution.

Currently she has a business selling fabric and blankets. She learnt this business in her childhood and has worked in this field for forty years.

The loan she is requesting is to increase capital (buy wool) which she will buy in the markets in the city of El Alto and then she will fill orders from her clients.

This type of work allows her to generate resources to maintain her house as she is married and has three children.

When asked what she likes about Pro Mujer she answers that she likes the areas of health and loans.

La A.C. “TAURO” iniciará el décimo quinto ciclo en Pro Mujer, como parte del Centro Focal de Senkata, está compuesta por ocho integrantes y está dirigida por una mesa directiva donde la señora Martha es la Presidenta. Los negocios que las integrantes de la asociación comunal llevan adelante son variados entre ellos existen: tienda de barrio, venta de fruta, venta de comida, venta de ropa, costura de poleras, costura de colchas y enaguas.

El crédito que sacaran beneficiara a pequeñas microempresarias donde la señora Martha es integrante, ella indica que hace siete años que integra Pro Mujer, ingresando por la invitación de una amiga que es socia de la institución. En la actualidad ella tiene un negocio de tejido y venta de mantas; da a conocer que este negocio lo emprendió desde su niñez y ya tiene cuarenta años de trabajo en este rubro.

El crédito que ahora sacará es para el aumento de capital (compra de lana) que adquirirá de las ferias de la Ciudad de El Alto y posteriormente a la elaboración lo comercializará a pedido de la clientela. Esta forma de trabajo le permite generar recursos para mantener en lo posible a su hogar pues ella es casada y tiene tres hijos.

Cuando se le consulta qué le gusta de Pro Mujer, ella responde que le gusta el área de salud y crédito.
