Luvuno is married and has four children. For the past eight years, she has operated a charcoal selling business. She sells from home to her neighbors and passersby. She faces a major challenge of the high cost of transportation.
Luvuno is requesting a loan from Yehu for 50,000 KES, which she will use to purchase sacks of charcoal to sell. She decided to join Yehu to access loans to boost her business. She dreams of expanding her business to become a wholesale supplier of charcoal in the village. She owns a house that has neither electricity nor piped water. Her greatest monthly expenses are food and school fees.
