Magomba is a married man with one child. They own a house that neither has electricity nor piped water. His greatest monthly expenses are food and school fees.
Magomba runs a vegetable and fruit selling business. His major goal is to become a leading fruit vending business in the area to raise his profits.
For that reason, with the KES 10,000 he wants to purchase green vegetables and sacks of fruits such as oranges. He decided to join Yehu to get financial support and boost his living standards.
About Yehu Microfinance Trust
This loan is administered by Yehu Microfinance Trust, which was founded in 1998 as a project of CHOICE Humanitarian Kenya. In July 2007, Yehu became a separate entity from CHOICE and was registered as a trust. Since then, Yehu has expanded to cover over half of Kenya’s 13 coastal districts.
