Maureen is a 24-year-old married woman with four children. She lives in Talibon, in Bohol in the Philippines. Maureen has worked in pig husbandry for two years, and this is her main source of income. Her husband works as a fisherman.
Maureen is asking for a loan so that she can buy feeds for the pigs, and additional ingredients to cook like vegetables, meat, seasoning and cooking oil. With this loan, she will be able to improve her business and her income. In the future, Maureen dreams of making her business more successful. She would like to be able to save money for the schooling of her children.
