Sokeala is 34 years old. She is married and resides with four children in Kampong Chhnang Province, Cambodia. She has been working in a garment factory for more than ten years, earning approximately $3 daily. Her husband is a construction worker and motor taxi driver who earns about $5 each day.
In order to improve her family’s finances, Sokeala is requesting a loan of $1,500 to purchase bricks and pipes to build a piggery. This money will help her acquire the ability to start a new business and earn more income for the family. In the future, she would like to expand her business and help her children earn a higher education. Moreover, she wants to rebuild her house to make it more comfortable for the family.
