Eustalia is 55 years old, widowed, and has three children. She lives in Oroquieta City, Misamis Occidental.
She produces copra (dried coconut meat used in oil production) to earn a living. She has been in her business for over eight years and earns 15,000 PHP every month.
She joined GDMPC last year to gain access to financial services to help improve her business and living situation. In the future, she wants to make improvements to her house and to improve the general living conditions of her family.
Gata Daku Multi-Purpose Cooperative (GDMPC) was founded in 1992 by 32 farmer-members to empower people by providing livelihood opportunities and other support services. Today, it has over 15,000 members located in upland, lowland and coastal regions of the Philippines, and offers credit, savings, education, and various social services.
