David is a 60-year-old married man with six children living in Bundibugyo, Uganda. He deals mainly in cocoa farming and earns additional income from a retail shop. He chose to deal in cocoa after accessing the lucrative nature of the crop and the ready market due to the factory in town. A good father that he is he desires to educate his children up to the university level and expand his cocoa plantation. David intends to use the loan to pay workers who are pruning his cocoa garden.
