The members of the communal bank “Jardines de Senkata” will begin its 2nd cycle in Pro Mujer as part of the Centro Focal de Senkata. It is made up of 6 members and is headed by a board where Lidia is the Treasurer. The businesses that the members of the communal bank engage in are varied and among them are: selling hats, selling meat, tailoring, neighborhood store, selling appliances, and selling clothing.

The loan they are making will benefit the microenterprises where Lidia is a member. She says that she has been with Pro Mujer for 5 months, joining through the invitation of her sister who is a member of the institution. Currently she has a business selling cosmetics, disclosing that she began the business because of financial need and that it is profitable.

The loan that she is taking now is to increase her capital, to buy cosmetics that she will buy from the distributors in the city of La Paz, and later she will sell them from her home. This line of work allows her to generate income to maintain the household as much as possible as she lives in a partnership and has a son.

When asked what she likes about Pro Mujer she says that she likes the training covering health and credit.

La A.C. “JARDINES DE SENKATA” iniciará el segundo ciclo en Pro Mujer, como parte del Centro Focal de Senkata, está compuesta por seis integrantes y está dirigida por una mesa directiva donde la señora Lidia es la Tesorera. Los negocios que las integrantes de la asociación comunal llevan adelante son variados entre ellos existen: venta de gorras, venta de carne, taller de costura, tienda de barrio, venta de electrodomésticos, comercio de ropa.

El crédito que sacaran beneficiara a pequeñas microempresarias donde la señora Lidia es integrante, ella indica que hace cinco meses que integra Pro Mujer, ingresando por la invitación de su hermana que es socia de la institución. En la actualidad ella tiene un negocio de venta de cosméticos; da a conocer que este negocio lo emprendió por la necesidad económica que tiene ya que es rentable.

El crédito que ahora sacará es para el aumento de capital (compra de cosméticos) que adquirirá de las empresas distribuidoras de la ciudad de La Paz y posteriormente lo comercializará en su domicilio. Esta forma de trabajo le permite generar recursos para mantener en lo posible a su hogar pues ella vive en unión libre y tiene un hijo.

Cuando se le consulta qué le gusta de Pro Mujer, ella responde que le gusta le gusta las capacitaciones en salud y crédito.
