Muharrem is a 37-year-old father of two young children, 10 and 8 years old, who lives with his family in the very rural, southern part of Kosovo. He is the only financial provider for the family. He is busy every day, all day long.

Muharrem has worked in construction for a long time, but with a very low salary. He also keeps livestock including animals like cows and goats. In order to generate more income he is planning to start up his own business selling milk and milk product to dairy farms in his region.

The loan of 500 Euro that Muharrem is requesting from KosInvest is to buy a cow and a calf. His goal is to expand his business, and this will happen soon, Muharrem says. He is very gratefully for this opportunity!

This program offers clients up to a 6-month grace period on the loan. By funding this loan, you are supporting borrowers who have limited options to start and grow small businesses. This has the potential to alleviate the effects of poverty, significantly improving borrowers' incomes and their families' quality of life.
