The communal bank “ROSAS DE CASCADA” is starting its second cycle with Pro Mujer as part of the central focus on Cascada. It is made up of eight members and is directed by a board of directors, of which Rosmery is president. The businesses that the members take part in vary and include: selling American clothes, selling baby clothes, sewing overalls, knitting jumpers by hand, making cement, a corner shop, a painter and a blanket weaver.

The loan that they will take out will benefit the small business owners. Rosmery is a member and joined Pro Mujer from her own initiative six months ago. At the moment, she has a corner shop, a trade which she learnt from her mother. After learning from her mother, she decided to start her own shop independently.

The loan that she will take out will pay for flour, sugar and oil which she will buy in bulk at the markets in the city of El Alto and then sell in her shop. This work allows her to generate resources in order to maintain her home as she is single with one child.

When she is asked what part of Pro Mujer she likes best, she answers that she likes the health part.

La A.C. “ROSAS DE CASCADA” iniciará el segundo ciclo en Pro Mujer, como parte del Centro Focal de Cascada, está compuesta por ocho integrantes y está dirigida por una mesa directiva donde la señora Rosmery es la Presidenta. Los negocios que las integrantes de la asociación comunal llevan adelante son variados entre ellos existen: venta de ropa americana, venta de ropa de bebe, costura de overoles, tejido de chompas a mano, fábrica de hormigón, tienda de barrio, pintor, trenzado de mantas.

El crédito que sacaran beneficiara a pequeñas microempresarias donde la señora Rosmery es integrante, ella indica que hace seis meses que integra Pro Mujer, ingresando por iniciativa propia. En la actualidad ella tiene un negocio de tienda de barrio; cuenta que este negocio lo aprendió de su madre, quien anteriormente vendía de esta forma, posteriormente decide emprender su propio negocio independiente.

El crédito que ahora sacará es para el aumento de capital (compra de harina, azúcar, aceite) que adquirirá de las ferias de la Ciudad de El Alto por mayor y posteriormente lo comercializará en su espacio de venta. Esta forma de trabajo le permite generar recursos para mantener en lo posible a su hogar pues ella es soltera y tiene un hijo.

Cuando se le consulta qué le gusta de Pro Mujer, ella responde que le gusta el área de salud.
