Our borrower is called Ousmane. He is a married father of one child. He has over ten years of experience. He belongs to the Peulh [Fulani] ethnic group and has only known how to raise cattle from an early age. He is requesting a loan to increase his herd, by which wealth is measured.
Ousmane is on this third loan, which will enable him to purchase two head of cattle and increase his livestock, so as to maximize his profit.
With the income from his business, Ousmane takes care of his family's day-to-day needs. Thanks to loans, he can now save money with the goal of working in public transports as a concurrent business.
