Lazaro
Lazaro, married with six children, is a renowned coffee farmer in Nyabihoko Village. He is among the few farmers in the area who have been able to pay his children’s school fees and at the same time put up a permanent house for his family. Due to the high demand for local brew, Lazaro has started a local brewing business, which supplements his income from his banana and coffee plantations. He uses low-priced banana as raw material for brewing his potent gin. He has applied for a loan of 500,000 UGX from UGAFODE to buy organic manure to use on his plantation
