Gislaine a dirigé son commerce de produits divers pendant les 7 dernières années. Elle voudrait utiliser cet emprunt pour investir à plus de produits. This loan is designed for a borrower or group of borrowers in Haiti. Esperanza is one of the few MFIs currently working in the northeast region of the country. Through lending, the organization aims to stimulate economic growth and opportunity in a country that has suffered debilitating crises, including political instability, natural disasters and poverty. Esperanza lends primarily to groups of women who cross-guarantee each other's loans. They also receive financial literacy courses and health services. 

This is a Group Loan

In a group loan, each member of the group receives an individual loan but is part of a larger group of individuals. The group is there to provide support to the members and to provide a system of peer pressure, but groups may or may not be formally bound by a group guarantee. In cases where there is a group guarantee, members of the group are responsible for paying back the loans of their fellow group members in the case of delinquency or default.
