Adela Elsa
Adela is a 63-year-old woman who lives in the city of Pisco with her son, whom she loves and who is her main reason for living. She is a very kind, hardworking, and enthusiastic person who does everything to get her family ahead as she has always had to be both mother and father to her son. Unfortunately, because of a lack of money and the need to work from a very young age to help her parents, Adela was not able to pursue the business administration degree she wanted. In her free time, she likes to watch the news and sometimes she makes a delicious carapulcra con sopa seca pork stew to share with her family.

Adela works as an assistant at a hair salon on her own initiative and with a lot of hard work and dedication. She also has a small business preparing and selling appetizers on request. She works every day and she can do it for around 10 hours. Adela feels at ease doing her work and she believes that it is going well because of her skill and because she treats others kindly.

Adela is very thankful to Kiva's lenders as it is thanks to their help that she will be able to buy a display case and ingredients to make the appetizers she sells. This will allow Adela to display her candies to attract more customers. She will keep working and applying herself to achieve her greatest dream of having a big buffet business.
